Walt Disney World 2014

For Thanksgiving break, I escaped to a place with a little sunshine, a little pixie dust, and a whole lot of magic... photo dis1pc_zpsfe2b8109.jpg
I spent four days down in Orlando to celebrate my good friend's birthday. When we landed, I'm pretty sure she cried tears of joy (she's a bit of a Disney fan)...

Hollywood Studios (including a frightening (to her) and thrilling (to me) ride on Tower of Terror), Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and finally Magic Kingdom... we did it all and we loved it all.

^Wouldn't be a trip to Disney without Mickey ice creams!!

^Hollywood Studios had the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights up while we were there... absolutely stunning. As a lover of Christmas lights, and twinkle lights in general, I was in awe.

^We were lucky to have 80* weather and sunshine on the day we visited Animal Kingdom. Such a lovely break from the cold at home!

^A surprising amount of people travel to Disney from Arkansas for Thanksgiving break, and we got to meet up with one of our best friends! We all thought about the irony that our lives are so busy back at home that we can never meet to catch up, but miles away in Florida we finally found the time!

We ended the trip with a night full of magic. For her 18th birthday dinner, we dined in the castle, watched the fireworks in a private spot, and walked away with balloons, sweet memories, and maybe a few tears.

I hadn't been back to Disney for ten years, but now? I can't wait to go back!!
